Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, and her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix demonstrated a talent in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her talent for sprinting during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished third in the 200 meter event during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed her high school education and was signed to an agreement to Adidas. In the year 2004, she enrolled in her first year at the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. Felix set an Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in running 200m. She won the title in 2007. won the title in front of her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently within the top three athletes in her respective events.
